Chris Yonge advises on open and proprietary 3D technology for leading Silicon Valley companies and as expert witness on 3D visualization for CA environmental and intellectual property law firms. An experienced public presenter, Chris received a standing ovation at the 2012 TEDx Santa Cruz for his presentation on the impact of open source hardware and software upon future product design. He also spoke at Stanford University's FabLearn 2012 conference in October 2012, and wrote a leading article on 3D printing in the current issue 40 of Blender Art Magazine.

Qualified as an architect and product designer, with experience in both professions as well as furniture making, technical animation, college teaching, and public presentations, Chris brings a unique set of skills to development projects. His clients include creative professionals with the challenge - or opportunity - of communicating and creating complex 3D structures, products, ideas, processes, and situations.

Chris teaches 3D computer modeling and animation to classes of 180 students twice a year at UCSC's School of Engineering and serves as advisor on digital prototyping to the faculty. He is a member of Cabrillo College's Digital Media Advisory Board.
