Chris Yonge built the engineering files for Santa Cruz Kayaks in Rhinoceros and SolidWorks, then repurposed the 3D models in 3D Studio Max and AfterEffects to create this one minute promotional animation for their web site, www.santacruzkayaks.com.

An animation to encourage federal and state funding of digital training resources in local libraries. Studio Cruz is also building the web site on which it is shown, www.libraryhub.org.

This was created to communicate the circumstances of, and liability for, a bicycle accident in Santa Cruz. An example of an animated courtroom graphic that includes elements to allow viewers to grasp the location, contractual responsibility for maintenance, and the results.

This short looping animation was designed and built for the home page of www.ussws.com, a local solar and wind power supply company.

Studio Cruz created two short animations for the technology company Potter Drilling of Redwood City. The first, which can be seen by clicking on the link above, was commissioned to show how their hydrothermal spallation technology is compatible with existing drilling equipment, yet takes drilling a generation beyond what current technologies allow. The video linked below, also designed and produced by Studio Cruz, explains what spallation drilling involves. Both animations can also be seen on their website at www.potterdrilling.com.

This animation was made to communicate a Linux-based touch screen concept for a recent Google sponsored competition. An example of what can be done in one day.
